Customer Calls Out Burger King for ‘False Advertising’ Around Deal

From the classic motto “Have it your way” to the current “You rule,” Burger King prides itself on giving its customers choices. But a Los Angeles-based TikToker found that one of the franchise’s drive-thru locations wouldn’t honor a deal it was promoting in its drive-thru signs.

The video comes courtesy of creator Peter Sark; according to his bio, he’s a content creator and gamer, and this particular video — with more than 102,000 views since posting to the platform on Jan. 13 — deviates from his usual content.

It starts with a view of the digital sign at the entrance of a Burger King drive-thru line, with the “You Rule” animation visible behind a screen caption that all-caps shouts “FALSE ADVERTISING.”

Armed Houston taqueria customer justified in shooting armed robbery suspect under Texas law: legal expert

An armed robbery suspect was shot dead by an armed customer in a Houston taqueria last week in a shooting that one criminal defense attorney in the area told Fox News Digital appears to have been justified under Texas law.

“A person is justified in using force against another person when and to the degree he or she reasonably believes force is immediately necessary to protect him against the other person’s use of force,” Houston criminal defense attorney Sean Buckley told Fox News Digital regarding Texas law and how it relates to a controversial shooting captured on video last weekend of an armed robber being shot dead by a customer in a Houston restaurant.

The suspect, later identified as 30-year-old Eric Eugene Washington, walked into the store pointing what appeared to be a gun at customers, demanding their money and collecting their wallets.
